Bobcat Backhoe And Excavator Driving Day - NSW

'On the day you will get the opportunity to drive a bobcat, a backhoe and an Excavator!! The Bobcat, otherwise known as a skid-steer is an awsome little machine. You will dicover how to make the machine move, turn, slide, lift and move earth. Then move onto the backhoe, this is a true land lovers delight. The machine is basically an overgrown tractor, but the real art is learning to use the front and rear buckets. Within a very short period of time you will be scooping up earth, levelling, filling, backfilling and constructing banks and dams - great fun! Finally you move onto your third vehicle - The Excavator. This has a fully adjustable cantilever bucket, a fully rotating base (through 360 degrees). This one takes a bit of mastery, you will begin by learning how to move the vehicle forwards, backwards and how to turn it. Then learn how to open and close the bucket and make the earth move!!! Before you tackle each machine you will be given full instructions in a 20 minute theory session. At the end of your session your instructor will show you what the machines can really do with a full demonstration.'
