Drumming Workshop - Up to 20 People - NSW

'From front of house, we set up our team and place a djembe drum on each chair. Usually we set up concentric circles of chairs. We play a Drum Call inviting the participants to join us. When the group is ready, a facilitator steps into the middle of the circle, and with a series of non-verbal instructions, facilitates the participants so that they are soon playing the drum. We teach the drum, conduct a de-briefing regarding the objective of the session, hand out a variety of percussion instruments and soon the participants are co-operating together and creating a powerful drumming ensemble. The experience includes: - Transportation of drums - Setting up and Layout of Drums and Chairs - Four or five or Six Musicians - Facilitator - Master Drummer - Rhythm Keeper - Doun Doun Player - Up to 80 minutes of interactive drumming - Drums for all participants - A selection of percussion instruments - An excellent experience!'
