Sailing 3 Day Coastal Adventure - NSW

'This is your adventure, and as a group you can plan your own three days of discovery as you wish before we depart, with the help of our Offshore Yachtmaster Instructor. Two destinations are possible, Broughton Island or Jervis Bay and we analyze the weather forecast and other passage plan essentials over dinner when we first meet to help us make our choice. After a detailed safety briefing, a decision is made, dependant on the weather to leave that first evening, sailing through the night or to leave early the following morning instead. Sailing throughout all the next day there is the chance to learn as much as you wish and/or practice those coastal navigation techniques and helming skills. We will sail close to the coast and may also stop in at bays and harbours as whim and weather permit. On arrival to our new bound destination we will have dinner that night and then rise early for some exploring, seeking out the unusual beaches and anchorages, taking a swim, snorkel or a walk or maybe do some fishing. Whilst watching the sunset that night we try to have a barbecue or a picnic on the beach, before starting off in the early hours to make our way back along the coastline to Pittwater. All this time you have the opportunity to do as much as you wish, although you dont have to learn anything if you just want to relax. However to sail the boat through days and nights we have a team watch system and therefore each person will need to share the responsibility of helping sail the boat. We share all the cooking and generally help each other in every way we can to have a great time in a special and unique environment. We will arrive before 5.00pm on the last day, jubilant from our exploits and new found confidence on the ocean. We use a variety of yachts for this experience and can be any one of a Bavaria 38, Bavaria 42 or Beneteau 40.7.'
