Cooking Class to Music - Vic

'You arrive at 7pm sharp. You walk in to a beautiful setting: candles, couches, amazing colours and you are warmly greeted by one of the musicians. She offers you a glass of champagne, nametag, drink tag. You enjoy some locally made cheese while getting to know a few of the other guests. Shortly the music starts. You sink into a comfy chair, sit back and relax as you listen to the incredible sounds of the two musicians. It's time for the food so you are taken to a state of the art kitchen. Bart Beek is the chef presenter and introduces himself. A luscious recipe has been cooked and is immediately served to you. As you eat away, the chef recreates the recipe right in front of you and through his incredible skills, knowledge and often crazy wit you take it all in. A special wine chosen to match the recipe is also served. The plates are cleared and the chef immediately starts on the next recipe. You watch him create it from start to finish trying to remember everything. He reassures you, all is well as every guest receives a copy of each recipe. Another wine is served. Time for a break, you take the opportunity to chat to your friends, one of the musicians or the chef. Back into the lounge and again you find the comfiest chair just in time before the musicians play. Guitar, voice, harmonies, one of the musicians brings out his electric violin and describes how it is a made to order, one off in the world, and then he plays. You are away with the music again. Back into the kitchen, two different dishes, more fun, food and wine. One more musical break happens just prior to the giveaways. There are only 18 guests here, the odds of winning something are really high. And if you don't it doesn't matter, you can always enjoy the surprises in the gift bag that each guest receives later. What a night, what a sensation, what a sensual journey..But will it be Moroccan this time or maybe Indonesian..hmmmmm.'
