Spanish Food and Wine Tasting (Min 6 people) - Vic

'Your experience begins with a welcome, a glass of sherry or cava (Spanish sparkling) while you explore the Spanish food and wine store and all the wonderful imported items from Spain. There will be Spanish style nuts and imported olives to enjoy as you look around. When the entire group has arrived you will be seated as the wonderful food starts to come out. Eduardo will, if requested by the group, give a brief history of the region of the food, and the ingredients and the tradition behind Spanish eating and drinking. Each course will be described by the chef himself and any questions answered. Eduardo has an amazing knowledge of Spanish, Spanish History and Spanish food and wine so guests are welcome to explore that. The meal ends when the group is ready and when the food ends with a wonderful traditional Spanish dessert, Spanish Sherry (pedro Ximenez) or coffee/ tea. Wines will be matched to the food across a range of regions and grape varieties. As an idea, for a group of 6, the beverages would include a glass of mazanilla sherry or cava upon arrival, approximately 5 bottles of wine (a white and reds) and a pedro ximenez sherry or coffee/tea to finish. As a gift from Viva Spain, guests will be able to take home a prada a tope t-shirt exclusive in Australia to viva Spain or a bottle of Spanish wine chosen by Viva Spain to take home and remember the experience.'
