Romantic Grand Ballroom Two Nights For Two - WA
'The grand, elegant room of yesteryear in Ford House, built in 1896 has 3.6m high ceilings that lord over the 8m x 4m room, with its extra wide jarrah floor boards, persian carpets and four poster king-size brass bed built in 1862. Two sets of French doors open onto the terrace and a sea of azaleas and a garden splendid in all seasons. The hand made Grannies flower garden quilt, bay window with Victorian drapes, together with the deep club chairs all add to the old-world charm. Yet, the amenities of modern day cannot be overlooked..... en-suite with views onto the garden, DVD with stereo, CDs, video and Foxtel cable TV, hair dryer, pot belly wood fire and waffled towelling robes. The fresh flowers and books are an added touch, as are the pure wool blankets. Breakfast is a real treat every day, with home made bread, fruit preserves and roasted almonds, with honey cured bacon and eggs if you prefer. On the first night, enjoy a delightful, candlelit, three-course dinner with local wine. The next night, feel grand as you dine at the high baronial table in the century old, exquisitely decorated barn with its wall of preserves. The dining experience also includes a bottle of excellent local wine from a small boutique vineyard.'
