White Water Rafting Day - WA

'Winter rafting takes place on the Murray River, in the beautiful Dwellingup region with around 30 rapids ranging from grade 2 to 4 and dropping 90 metres over 8 km, while summer rafting takes place on the pristine waters of the Collie River. You will encounter many rapids plus plenty of areas to get out and take a dip to cool off. Your day begins with complimentary transfers from Perth, Fremantle and Mandurah to the rivers, which are approx. 45min to 1.5hrs drive from Perth depending on which river. Firstly, youll meet the guides, get familiar with the equipment, change into wetsuits and have breakfast. Then you'll move onto the launch spot, here youll get a safety briefing with the rafting group, get on to the water then receive a further safety brief on the water before heading downstream where the action begins. After some adrenalin pumping rafting we stop and relax for a wholesome lunch on the banks of the river. You will then continue rafting until mid afternoon when the equipment is returned to the vehicles. Enjoy a light snack and drinks on the way home, before arriving back in Perth at around 6pm.'
