Helicopter Scenic Flight ?Alice Springs - NT

'Your experience begins with a safety briefing before your flight in the Bell 47 helicopter. This will take approximately five minutes. After seat belts are fastened and youve been fitted with a headset, we take off from Alice Springs airport tracking north-east to picturesque Emily Gap in the East MacDonnell Ranges, then turn north-west over the eastern suburbs of Alice Springs following the usually dry Todd River bed with its magnificent white gums, over Alice Springs township to the airport and perhaps catch sight of The Ghan as it winds slowly through Heavitree Gap. Your pilot will point out the sights over the intercom on which you can transmit to him and each other. On return to the airport, you will be escorted from the helicopter to our reception lounge for a cold drink, tea or coffee.'
